What are the recent inventions that can protect our environment?

1. Nuclear power. It's cleaner and safer than coal powered electric power plants.
2. No inventions protect our environment, but some help to protect it. Wind turbines, although they have been around for a long time. Generate electricity without pollution. Solar Cell Arrays. Generate electricity without pollution. Catalytic converters on auto, remove pollution from the exhaust of the engine. Lean burn engines and computer controlled fuel injection engines. Minimize pollution from the exhaust. Nuclear power plants. Generate electricity without pollution. Stack scrubbers, that remove some of the pollution from the stacks of oil and coal electric plants. Hybrid autos, that use less gas and thus pollute less.
3. A small company has developed Windows that are sufficiently clear to be seen through yet produce SOLAR power. It's called Octillion Corp. Coupled with conventional Solar this is a great advancement. Another much larger company called Applied Materials is working on SPRAY ON SOLAR...In other words having the panels simply applied like paint. Not there yet to my knowledge but they're working on it. PEACE!
