simple invention ideas or inventions that needs improvement?

can anyone give me any ideas to invent or just any SIMPLE inventions that i can re-invent, something around the house or something in the classroom.... I'VE BEEN BLANK FOR ALMOST 4 DAYS!!!! PLEASE HELP ME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

1. i did this before..!! what about this...... u could make the "light bulb" better how? this is how,............... one of the many problems in this world is BLACKOUTS!!! light bulbs turn off when this happens and goes dark but this improvment will not let this happen, so when there is a blackout the light bulb stays on, because u could say that when the eletricity goes out the light bulb will work on batteries!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! so when the electricity is gone, the batteries on the bulb are automaticly switched on!!
